  • Guided radar - Our guided radar measurement solutions use guided wave radar sensors to provide continuous level measurement of both liquids and solids. Since guided radar is not affected by the state of a material’s surface - whether dealing with built-up foam, the potential movement of a liquid, or the uneven surface of a bulk solid - it’s able to provide consistently reliable measurement. It even remains unaffected by obstacles and other devices, such as baffles, that may be present in the storage unit. Our guided radar solutions ensure safe measurement, even during the filling process, and have uses in a variety of applications. These tools are frequently used in simple storage tanks, with corrosive or aggressive materials, and in heavy-duty scenarios.
  • Radar - Our radar measurement tools use free-space radar sensors to measure the levels of both liquids and solids. This particular form of measurement has numerous benefits - including the fact that it makes no contact with the materials and does not require ongoing maintenance. Plus, properties such as the density and conductivity of a material do not have an effect on radar measurements. Even filling noise and dust in bulk solids won’t affect it. Our radar equipment also features a freely adjustable measuring range and can withstand high temperatures of up to +450 °C/+842 °F. These measurement tools have applications in simple storage tanks, with corrosive or aggressive materials, and in units requiring high-accuracy tank gauging.
  • Ultrasonic - Our ultrasonic measurement tools use Prosonic sensors to provide accurate level measurement for a wide range of materials - from fluids, pastes, and sludges to bulk materials that vary in texture from powdery to coarse. These particular tools are unique in that they do not come in contact with the material they’re measuring and do not require any additional maintenance. In addition, measurement capability is not impacted by material properties such as dialectic constant value, density, and humidity. Our ultrasonic tools even calibrate without filling or discharging, and have a self-cleaning element thanks to their vibrating sensor diaphragm. These versatile measurement tools are often used with abrasive and aggressive materials and can withstand rough, unstable environments.
  • Vibronic point level detection - This type of measurement identifies point level switches in both liquids and solids in order to prevent overfills. One of its greatest benefits is that it’s unaffected by the material it’s measuring. So, common occurrences such as turbulence, foam, vibration, and buildup have no effect. Vibronic point level detection tools are also easy to install, self-monitoring, and ready to use without the need for extensive calibration. And, since they experience zero wear and tear, they require no maintenance. In liquid applications, vibronic tools can be used to control minimum and maximum levels, monitor leakages, and prevent overfills. In bulk solid applications, they can be used to measure materials in hazardous areas. Vibronic point level detection is also well-suited to the chemical and food industries.
  • Capacitance - Our capacitance measurement devices use capacitance probes to measure and detect the levels of both liquids and solids levels. Capacitance tools implement a proven measuring principle, ensuring optimal stability and safety. And with a universally adaptable probe, it’s highly versatile and extremely easy to use. Known for its dependable operation, the capacitance tool is commonly used with aggressive materials, especially in small tanks and in units that experience heavy buildup. It’s also ideal for situations involving highly viscous materials.
  • Servo - Our servo tank gauging instruments provide high-precision measurements for liquids. Since this tool is also unaffected by material properties, such as conductivity and dielectric constant, it’s commonly used in applications involving custody transfer of materials and inventory control. In particular, our servo tools are ideal for providing high-accuracy measurements in the transfer of materials like crude oil, gasoline, diesel, petrochemicals, and chemicals.
  • Conductive - Our conductive measurement tools provide precise point-level detection in conductive liquids. These tools use simple instrumentation to provide easy, safe, multipoint detection with just one process connection. Since they require no calibration and have no moving parts, our conductive tools are able to provide reliable operation with minimal wear and long service life. Conductive measurement can be used in a wide range of applications to secure inventory levels and prevent tank overflow using two-point and multipoint controls.
  • Radiometric - Our radiometric measurement solutions use gamma-ray devices to measure and detect material levels for liquids, solids, suspensions, and sludges. These tools are able to make measurements from the outside, without any contact with the material itself. They’re also unique in that they can be used to perform extreme measuring tasks that other measurement devices cannot. These tools’ source containers feature manual or pneumatic switches to turn them on or off, and contain a locking device for securing the switch position. Our radiometric tools can provide continuous level measurement and point-level detection without any contact, and also offer interface and density measurement capabilities.
  • Electromechanical - Our electromechanical measurement devices provide continuous level measurements for bulk solids - particularly those that are dusty, fine-grained, or coarse-grained - with the use of a sensing weight. Uninfluenced by a material’s properties or dielectric constant value, electromechanical measurement is a proven, reliable method that also happens to be very cost-effective. It has applications in common bulk solids such as cereals, plastic granulate, and powders.
  • Float switch - Our float switch measurement tools provide point-level detection for certain types of liquids. Providing reliable and cost-effective measurement solutions, float switches are often used in tanks and storage units as pump protectors or alarms to alert workers to the levels in open containers. This may be particularly useful in sewage treatment plants, for instance. Float switches are versatile in that they have two options for output: electrical connections to NAMUR for hazardous areas, and changeover contact (alternate current/direct current) for universal, standard applications.
  • Paddle switch - Our paddle switch measurement tools serve as reliable sensors for notifying operators of full, empty, and demand levels for bulk solids. With a measuring principle that can be applied to simple applications, these easy-to-use tools require no calibration.
